Annual School Supplies:
This project is coordinated through the Resurrection Lutheran Church. Virtually all schools in Plano receive support with this project. Clients are screened through the Assistance Center. Distribution of supplies is handled by staff and volunteers prior to the start of school. Applicants must provide proof of residence, proof of enrollment in PISD and proof of need.
Shoe Ministry:
During the Annual School supply screening children are offered an opportunity to receive a voucher for a new pair of shoes and socks.
Thanksgiving Program:
Groceries for families and meal vouchers for adults and/or singles are provided for Thanksgiving after appropriate screening.
Plano Santas:
The Assistance Center is happy to match families in need with families that want to help during the holiday seasons.
