2nd Annual Bobby-Sox Bowling Fundraiser

Benefitting the Assistance Center of Collin County

Help Collin County residents in crisis at the second annual Bobby-Sox Bowling event. The fundraiser, benefitting the Assistance Center of Collin County, will take place on Saturday, February 27, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Plano Super Bowl (2521 Avenue K in Plano). The event is designed for families, neighborhood groups and corporate teams. In addition to bowling, there will be burgers, hot dogs, drinks, karaoke, contests, prizes, and a silent auction.

Tickets

Tickets are $25 for individuals and $85 for a family or group of four.

Sponsorships

Corporate lane sponsorships are available at $300. Sponsorship packages include prominent display of corporate signage for one month at Plano Super Bowl and tickets for a team of four members.

More than 17,000 Collin County residents were helped by the Assistance Center of Collin County last year. The Assistance Center responds to people in crisis with housing, utilities, prescriptions, transportation, food, and clothing. Center programs include immediate assistance and referrals for housing, food, and clothing needs. Additional support can be arranged based on need and the availability of funds. the ACCC supports social services through referrals for many other programs and agencies in Collin County. Many know the Center through the organization, logistics and qualification for back-to-school supplies and shoes, Thanksgiving turkeys and Plano Santas.

With high unemployment and continued hard economic times, the Center is being called on for help even more in 2010.
