Donate to the Assistance Center of Collin CountyHow You Can Contribute

Help Us Help Others

The Assistance Center gets funding from corporate gifts, grants, church collections, community donations and our own fundraising activities. We also receive government funds for administering specific government programs. We rely on each source to continue our work on your behalf.

Our board of directors will be happy to make a presentation to your company, church, organization or club to share our history and dedication to helping those in need in Collin County so you can decide the way you would like to help.

Consider a single or ongoing donation, holding a fundraising event, participating in our fundraising activities or providing contributions of services or products. We can help you find and facilitate a volunteer project like painting or upgrading equipment or appreciation gifts for the volunteers.

Wish List

Office supplies. Contact us for a specific list

School supplies for back to school distribution

Merchant gift cards. We distribute these to clients in lieu of cash for gas, groceries and prescriptions

Special Gifts. Consider a single or ongoing donation, holding a fundraising event, participating in our fundraising activities, or share a windfall. We have successfully managed major gifts, including bequests and donations of stock, real estate or other property have been helpful in expanding our programs, adding to staff and helping assure our future.

General Donations. Each donation works hard at the Assistance Center. Helping a family rebound from a crisis often means a custom plan that includes access to food, help on rent and utilities. Because we help at the time of crisis we know that our help often keeps the family together and prevents the need for greater assistance later.

During trying times, whether it is a job layoff, a medical emergency, or family money issue, our community funds are tight. When floods, economic downturns or weather extremes stress the funds of the working poor, our needs are even greater.
